Hello!
Sorry for the late post-this week got away from me! Our letter of the week is C. Please bring in your C picture by Friday for our C collage. We are continuing to study about winter, more specifically, winter animals. We are learning about migration, hibernation and how animals forage throughout the winter. We are reading some lovely books such as No Two Alike by Keith Baker, Over and Under by Kate Messner and Snow is Falling by Franklyn Brandley. We are also watching clips from a wonderful National Geographic video of What Animals Do in the Winter. This helps us deepen our knowledge of how animals live during the cold winter months. On Friday, we will be watching a cartoon animation of the Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats. Together we have planned when we need to have a great movie day. We are going to make popcorn and hot cocoa to enjoy with our movie. Have a wonderful week! Mandi Heiser [email protected]
