Hello!
We have a beautiful start to our week so far! Thank-you to the parents that volunteered for the Walk-a-thon! Your help was greatly appreciated! Ray collected $24,000 which will go to enrich student education! This week we will continue to learn all about Butterflies. We will be watching our caterpillars begin to change into chrysalis. We will be completing observational drawings, using life-cycle models to get hands on experience with the change as well as doing some fun butterfly art projects! Please remember, on nice days the students may be working in our garden during their recess. They may get muddy! Please do not sent your student to school in their Sunday best because our primary objective is to give each student hands on learning experiences (which may include dirt). Also don’t forget the sunscreen on sunny days! Have a great week! Mandi Heiser [email protected]
